My submission for IllustrationFriday.com, the topic is "Scale". I had several ideas that came to mind when I first read the word "scale". This seemed to bring a lot of those ideas together. Not only do we have the scale as a device for weighing things but we also have the scale of the universe. A scale that shows us How tiny we might be. A scale that might show us that in such a large universe there are things everywhere that are worried about their weight...even in zero gravity. But then again, in the "grand scale" of things, maybe none of that really matters....
